Still no Dictionary, But I do Have A Humphrey!!

What might you ask is a dang Humphrey?  Well, you should ask, who?  Cuz, he is just the darnest, cutest, most adorable lil poopster you ever saw.  He is my nephew and here he is:

i still have a migraine, so off i go to bed, but wanted humphrey to say hey to suz and chris and diane and all the others out there that love boxers.  woof.  slurp, and lick!  night, mom is making me go night night now.  bad mommy.

Yup, Still hanging around….

So, I have been really feeling kind of bad not posting every day.  Feeling guilty.  I read all these wonderful blogs with very smart and emotional meanings and thoughts.  I have nothing.  I draw a blank.  I am sitting every day looking at my screen wondering where you people get your inspiration from.  I look up at the ceiling and there isn’t anything there.  I went to the window, peeked out at the horizon, nada.  Stared at the floor to see if it would speak to me, the dog got off the couch and thought we were going somewhere.  (note to self: don’t look at floor again unless going for a walk with dog!)

 

So I am racking my lil pea brain as to what might I just do each day for an idea for my blog?  Then I had a light bulb moment.  It’s not Einstein, mind you, but I think it may work for me.  And it may inspire a few of you.  I am going to use our friend, Webster’s Dictionary to help me find a thought or subject each day.  It was just sitting there doing nothing….and when the need arises, like a special day, or something I will do that instead. 

 

Though I am sure I will still have my lazy days.  Who doesn’t?  lol  Well, I am off to search for the biggest and best Webster I can find!  Oh, and some lunch too!  tee hee!

Got many DVD’s to pass the hours away.

I made him a collage of all his family “surrounding” him and grandma…he was speechless!

And the best present came the day after!!

A Birthday Blog

Wishing me sissy a very bestest birthday ever!  Wish I was there to celebrate in the festivities.  Hoping all your birthday wishes come true! 

 

 

I would take you to dinner at your favorite place…..

Then we would go shopping for whatever your lil heart desired….

After that, we would go and get ice cream, cuz you always need a lil something sweet after a good meal….

Then we would hit a movie, cuz you gotta rest now, your old and brittle….lol

 

And ifn you had any spare energy left, cuz this would be an all day affair, I would take you for a round or four at the casino, cuz I know how you roll!  Thats what I would do for you if i was there to celebrate your old age with you. 

 

Have a wonderful and fun day.  Hope all your wishes come true, make sure you take a hit of oxygen before you attempt to blow out all those candles!

I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas, Thanksgiving….Autumn?

This could possibly be my driveway to my huge and wonderfully brand new log home!

 

Ahhhh well, it is nice to dream.  I guess I will just have to take my tent and stake it somewhere….build me a roaring fire, make some s’mores and a big pot of something yummy.  Geez….and here I am sitting in the air conditioned house while I dread going out in the HOT air.   GIVE ME A BREAK MOTHER NATURE!

Dear Mother Nature….

Pleeeeeease, pleeeeease send me some cold weather!  I can’t stand warm weather in November!  What is a gal supposed to do?  I will turn down the air conditioner to 50, and wear my woolies.   But then MIL will have to be taken out in a body bag….frozen to death!

 

I could order a snow machine and have them blow the white stuff all over my yard….but then hubby would divorce me for spending such a wad of money on something foolish!

 

I could just move up north again.  Yup….I think that will be my best idea.  Leave all the husbands, MIL, FIL and all the house behind and pack up the truck with a tent and all the supplies I need to live.  That’s what I will do.  CRAP!   I can’t do that, I got a dr. appt next week.  DANG! 

 

Mother Nature?  Are you listening to me?  PWEEEEEEZE SEND ME SNOW AND COLD WEATHER FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!   pweeze?
