im feeling a bit lonely and melancholy....wanting to spend time with my siblings....to reminisce of days we had fun and try to match our stories....cuz thats what we do. i miss my brother, haven't seen him in a year...and that was just a short week. it seems whenever we do get together with my sisters we usually have to argue about where i will stay, what days we will do what, with whom and so on. i know, i should feel good about that, but it is so seldom that i see them, i wish we just lived closer so that we could fight and have the crap that goes on with relatives that live close by. my son live 2 miles down the road, i see him every day for lunch, but don't see his kids, my babies hardly at all. why? because it is a big production to get them here. i usually have to make a meal when i invite them over. and since we live with my in-laws, i have to consider them, well her now, since dad is in the nursing home. she can't take the stress of two little ones. so i loooooong for sibling closeness. i craaaaaaaave sisterly/brotherly rivalry. i waaaaaaaaaant family togetherness. i neeeeeeeeeed my toone, niecey and denden!!!

my brother is in austin, tx. i last saw him in may last year. it was his and denise's birthday. today is their birthday so i guess that is why i am so blah....i wanna be with them again. two of them are together, and he is alone with his wife and her family. i miss them all. i just think life is too short to see each other "whenever we get the money" or "whenever we can fit you in" or "whatever". i know people have lives, and i know they have extenuating circumstances, i have them too. we all don't make that much money. neither of us siblings makes enough to hardly make ends meet as it is. i guess i am just flapping my gums, i know it will never happen, i will never leave here, because jims parents depend on us, and now my son lives here, so we will not leave them here. and i know that my brother will never leave texas, all his wife's family is there, they have lived there all their married life. and the two sisters won't leave nebraska, that is where their kids live and grew up, so my dream of all of us ever living all together is just that, a dream....

A Fun Week End

Had the family over for the obligatory cook-out on Saturday...with a little "pool party" on the side. ROFL if you can call it that....but it was fun, just some doggies on the grill, and the hubby cooked pork tenderloins too, I much preferred the doggie, baked beans, home made macaronies and cheese baked in the oven, and some grand babies for dessert! yummy!

remembering when my other little one was here, so i threw those pics in too for good measure. just to show off all three. the whole kitt and kaboodle, the whole she bang, the big palooza, you get the picture, literally.....lol.

well, i hadn't posted in years, so i thought that i would throw something up here, not a lot going on. had some shoulder surgery, kind of boring....going to physical therapy....i call it torture therapy. i mean where else do you pay people to hurt you? c'mon.....the dr. tells me i need to take it easy for 6 weeks and gives me a prescription for physical therapy where they make me do all kinds of torturous tasks that leave me in pain when i leave, and then charge me an "arm and a leg" for it! only in america.....

and if that wasn't enough.....my blood pressure is out of control. (probably from all the torture!) so my dr. is going to make we wear and "event monitor" for a whole month! don't know what all that entails, but i am sure it will be a pain in the rear. i mean how do you shower? what if i have to go through security at the airport? will i set the buzzers off at walmart? i have sooo many questions....but i do have something funny going on with my ticker....it is like skipping beats or stopping/starting so this will tell them what they need to know, hopefully. i guess i will post as i progress along....keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Awwww, a baby chicken, nugget.....
These are my mommies red shoes.....she calls them her ruby slippers, daddy calls them something else, I like them to wear around the house, daddy likes mommy to wear them for special occasions too.


Well, i just had to post these cute lil pics of my Molly magoo...my daughter sent them, and of course...i post them as quick as i can. i dont get as many pics of my other two that live here, even tho i see them every few days...just cuz they live here, i guess. but i will post them also...they are just as cute. and they do the cutest stuff too. we will be going to the beach with them soon. so i will have beach pics....we had planned on going when jin was here, but it was just getting warm enough, and when it was hot enough, that was the weekend her hubby came down....so we will make an effort to go one of these weekdays....it is so nice right now...i could be basking in the sun as we speak....soaking up some of those magical rays....warming me bones...i may just have to pack up and go....i went the other day, suit on, had a dr. appt. and packed me a lunch, had the chair and umbrella, book and cooler, drinks and all in the truck. got to the beach it was 58 degrees. i ate my lunch in the truck with the heat on....lol. read my book for about 30 minutes.... then went home. it is only like 20 minutes to the beach. but i wanted so much to just lay out there and soak up the heat of the sand and sun...i will make a date...and keep it this time...
